Good Grief is a gay film directed by Dan Levy (he is a Canadian actor, writer, director, comedian, and producer) with a dream cast of actors and actresses in the works. It is still unclear when the release date will be, but what we do know is that it will be on the Netflix streaming platform. This movie flirts between drama and comedy.
We already have a first summary of the volume. According to IMDb, the story is about Levy playing Marc Dreyfus, who finds himself in a spiral when his partner passes away. Tragedy turns Marc’s comfortable life upside down, bringing to light buried grief over the death of his mother. Along with his two closest friends, Marc heads to Paris to find his place again but gets a little more than he bargained for.

Dan Levy
Daniel Joseph Levy is a Canadian actor, writer, director, comedian, and producer. Born in Toronto to parents Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine, he began his career as a television host for MTV Canada. Has been confirmed to also star in the new Netflix movie
Ruth Negga
(is another actress involved in this Dan Levy project. Negga has already received an Oscar nomination for her work in the film Loving (Jeff Nichols, 2016). It won’t be the first occasion that this star appears in a Netflix production, as she was one of the main characters in Passing (Rebecca Hall, 2021) alongside Tessa Thompson).
Lucas Evans

Note: Luke Evans is an actor who openly belongs to the LGBT+ community. He has commented that he identifies as gay and has recently worked on several film projects dealing with homosexuality. One example is the film “Our Son” with Billy Porter. It is not yet known if his character in Good Grief part of the LGBT+ will be a community.
