We have the pleasure today to host Claudio Stefanini, CEO of Letzfair, find his interview below!

Hi Claudio, nice to meet you and thank you for your time. Letzfair, a name that represents a whole program: tell us about it?

We chose the name Letzfair because we wanted something fresh and international. Letzfair literally means  “make fair” and we loved the idea of a name that would remind us of a moment of aggregation and that represents the desire to be together and do business.

How did Letzfair’s idea come about?

The idea was born at the “SMM” in Hamburg in 2016, the most important trade fair in the nautical sector. After the umpteenth participation in a fair without having at my disposal a platform or an app that would allow me to make the short but very expensive business trip, effective and efficient. I got the idea of creating Letzfair.

How long did it take to shape the project?

About two years. I kept working and, in my free time, I started to study the feasibility of my idea. It was a long job, but it was very engaging and exciting.

In this particular historical context, the field of Events has changed a lot. How did you deal with this situation?

Innovating and studying new solutions for new problems that organizers had to face. Fortunately our platform already provided many of the solutions that have become urgent but we still had to do a great job of study and redesign!

Who is your target user? And how would you judge the response you are getting from the target user?

Our target user are event managers of big trade fairs or congresses. Our solution was created to increase the satisfaction of participants during these events along with the proceeds that the organizers gain from the events themselves. We give a lot of value to all participants, regardless of the size of the event, but the bigger the event, the more they make during the year and the higher is the value our solution can offer. The response is excellent, our solution loves it a lot for the completeness of the features and especially for all the possibilities of customization and integration with the computer systems already in use by our customers.

Did you use crowdfunding campaigns to launch the project? What do you think about crowdfunding in general?

No, we explored this possibility but we soon realized that, for a business and for a reality like ours, crowdfunding campaigns would not bring us great results. I think that for many types of business models are a very interesting tool, especially if well thought.

Two classic final questions: Projects you are most attached to? Projects for the future?

Projects carried out of which we are most definitely loyal are the World Congress of Cardiology held in Paris in 2019 and the latest, the Digital Innovation Days 2021 and the collaboration as official suppliers of Veronafiere Spa for Vinitaly and SOL&Agrifood.

For the future instead…. grow! Our mission is to support exhibiting companies, which in Italy are about 200 thousand, to increase the results obtained by participating in trade fairs and conferences. 50% of all Italian exports are generated by participation in fairs and congresses and at the same time supporting exhibitors to increase their business at the fair ,we will help the entire Italian economy.

During the journey to reach our mission we are sure that we can take away enormous satisfaction in the professional, economic and especially human sector.
