Manage Optimised Battery Charging to not ruin the iPhone battery

If you’re using an iPhone that is updated to iOS 13 and later versions, you can enable or disable a feature in the settings that optimizes the battery and prevents its aging. Optimised Battery Charging allows iPhone to reduce full charging time and learn daily charging habits. It waits for the user not to use it again to exceed the 80% charge.

The chemical age of a battery is affected by several factors, including the temperatures it has been subjected to over time and charging habits. With aging, it decreases the ability of lithium-ion batteries to hold charge, and they also decrease battery life and performance.

The Optimised Battery Charging option is designed by Apple to cure battery wear and improve battery life in certain situations, reducing the time your iPhone spends fully charged. When it is enabled, iPhone uses machine learning to understand your charging habits. The purpose is to keep the iPhone fully charged when disconnected.
