Pico 4 brings new VR apps and games

Pico 4 is Bytedance’s newest standalone VR headset that was recently launched in Europe, Japan and South Korea. However, if you take a look at its website, there is still no specific interface for the official store. Therefore, today we present you with a list of all the games and apps that will be available on Pico 4 after its launch.

Design and capacity

First of all, it should be noted that the new headset features better specs than the Meta Quest 2. This time with better resolution and a thinner and lighter design. 

At the moment, Pico 4 is known to have approximately 150 virtual reality games in its store. Among its repertoire are popular VR games and apps such as SUPERHOT VR, Space Pirate Trainer, Arizona Sunshine, Virtual Desktop and more.

But if this is not enough for you, don’t worry, as more games will arrive as developers make the necessary updates to make their games work with the new hardware.

On the other hand, we should add that these headsets feature new pancake lenses and haptic feedback. Therefore, developers will have to update so that their games are enabled with these functions.

On top of that, if you are a Pico 4 user, you will also have the possibility to easily add any application to your library by going to its respective official website from the Pico browser. Then, just go to the browser’s configuration menu and select the “Save as shortcut” option to save the app among your user applications.

Meta Quest alternative

So far, there hasn’t been a standalone VR headset that can compete with the Quest 2. Nevertheless, as you realize, Pico 4 has become an excellent alternative that not only beats Meta Quest 2 but is also a good rival to Quest Pro. In addition, the company in charge of Pico has expressed that later on they will bring Pico 4 Enterprise, which surely has more surprises.
