Moments packs offer the new features available for Windows 11. Insertion follows the arrival of the monthly updates, but activation does not occur at this time. Instead, when the features are ready, there is also activation of the Moment package release. Windows Update manages updates, grouped into small packages to be activated.

Windows 11 Moment 3 is the third Moment package update. It is version KB5026446, available to users who have checked the box in Windows Update. In particular, Windows 11 Moment 3 offers a “cumulative patch preview“. Users can install it manually for the time being. Alternatively, we can wait until next June, when Windows 11 Moment 3 features will be added, as well as other planned options.

- availability of system clock with seconds display;
- search for menu shortcuts to be activated using the keyboard by clicking only on the file explorer;
use Live Kernel Memory Dump, located in the Task Manager. With this option, technicians can find the data and solve the problem, but while the system is still functional. This reduces system downtime, when it’s necessary to analyze the problem and find a solution; - activate a touch or on-screen keyboard (in the absence of a physical keyboard) to monitor the operation of Windows 11;

How do I activate the new features of Windows?
To install Windows 11 Moment 3 features, simply follow these steps:
- install Microsoft Updates on Windows Update;
- download the program to take advantage of Windows ViVeTool personalization in the latest version;
- extract the contents of the ViVeTool compressed file by transferring it to the C: ViVeTool folder;
- type cmd in the Windows 11 search box;
- choose Run as administrator ;
- form the prompt with the command c: vivetool vivetool.exe /enable /id:41655236;
- reboot the system or write shutdown /r /t 0u, for an immediate reboot, directly from the command prompt;
- click on the Windows+I key combination;
- select the Personalization option;
- select Taskbar;
- click on Taskbar Behaviors.
