What are Parental Controls?

Parental Control is one of the filters in charge of hiding content considered inappropriate for children. When the user enters this mode and parental controls are enabled, the user will be prompted to enter a password to view the specified entertainment, which is often included in streaming services and other formats. are both free and paid.

The PIN code is the access code that allows you to view content that is deemed inappropriate for children. If the PIN is entered incorrectly, the user attempting to view the content will not be able to view it until they log in. This type of PIN allows you to have more control over children. To activate parental controls, launch a web browser on your computer:

1. Go to paramountplus.com/account and log in to your account.
2. Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen and click Account in the menu.
3. Under ‘Profiles and Parental Controls’ within the Account Menu. Toggle the switch next to Parental Controls.
4. You will need to select the age of the parental control.
5. When you accept, you will need to create a parental control PIN.

Note: Make sure that what they are viewing is completely safe and age appropriate.

Forget Parental Control PIN

If you have forgotten it, these steps may help you to recover it:

1. Log out of the account.
2. Now click on log in.
3. Click on I forgot my password.
4. Check your email and click on the link to reset your password.
5. Once restored, we go to configuration.
6. Click on Parental Control and enter the new password we updated.
7. Now we enter the PIN or Password for the Parental Control.
8. Once finished, click on Save and you are done.

Devices that do NOT support Parental Controls

There are some devices that do not support parental control mode, these devices do not allow parental control, within paramount plus. the list of devices is as follows.

• Samsung televisions.
• Vizio TVs.
• Apple TV 2 and 3.

The devices that allow parental control are:

• Android cell phones and tablets.
• Apple devices such as: iPhone, iPad, Mac.
• Apple TV (Fourth generation onwards and Fifth generation 4K).
• Android TV.
• Fire TV.
• All Roku devices.
• PS4.
• Xbox.
• Windows computers.
