How to Stop Fortnite from Crashing and Freezing on PS4

You’ve been playing Fortnite on your PS4 for a while now, just to relax a bit and have some mindless fun. 1) Restart your PS4

It may seem like a silly solution, but the good old turn off/turn on method is a good place to start. Restart your console or, even better, turn it off completely, unplug it from the power source, and then turn it on again after some time.

2) Update your PS4

3) Delete and re-install Fortnite

Now, just do the following:

1. first, turn off your PS4 by pressing and holding the Power button for about 7 seconds (you’re supposed to hear 2 beeps)
2. after the second beep, release the Power button
3. now, you’ll be asked to connect the Dualshock 4 controller with the USB cable
4. press the PS button on the controller
5. then, select the Rebuild Database option by pressing X (this could take a few hours)
6. once the process is finished, you can restart your console
