What is Marvel Snap?
Marvel Snap, the Hearthstone-style card game with Marvel heroes and villains has turned out to be a hit on iOS and Android mobiles, thanks to its great fan service, including almost all the characters of the publishing house, but if there is something that makes it stand out, it is the different situations. No two games are the same because the cards have different effects, and the zones produce all kinds of chaotic effects. In each game, the goal is to defend at least two locations to get as many points as possible. And understanding how the Marvel Snap positions work is essential to the success of the games.
What is a pool in Marvel Snap?
To maintain a certain logic when it comes to unlocking cards and so that you are not constantly encountering decks that are much more powerful than yours, Marvel Snap’s matchmaking works based on your level of card collection (as we told you along with other things that Marvel Snap does not explain). In this way, thanks to the pool, Marvel Snap balances the games and progress so that it is not frustrating to play and that, when looking for what decks you can create, you have a clear idea of your collection level and what cards you can use.
The collection level is divided into different levels
- POOL 1 46 from level 18 to 214
- POOL 2 25 from level 222 to 474
- POOL 3 74 from level 486 onwards

How to play Marvel Snap?
Two main factors contributed to the success of the game:
the simplicity when it comes to learning the game and the fact that games last about three minutes, making this game perfect for short periods. With over 150 cards available, more to come over time, and 50 unique locations from the Marvel Universe, heroes and villains are rare enemies here; we can combine them in our deck and combine their abilities to win.
The operation is very simple:
in the center of the screen is the battlefield (3 areas) and we and our opponent must try to control it. The games are, almost always, of 6 turns, that’s why it’s fast. If you look closely, all the cards have two numbers. To the left and in blue, is the energy so we can only use them if our energy meter is equal to or higher than its value.
The zones are unlocked progressively, and the energy meter increases if we decide to pass the turn without spending the current amount. On the right and in yellow, is the power of the card, which will be the determining factor to winning or falling defeated by the opponent’s card. The funny thing is that the battlefield (the zones to control) often applies effects. For example, in some cases, when placing a card on it, it is reported that in a certain turn the card will cost twice the energy.
In addition, there are two currencies in the inventory blue coins are obtained by playing, while gold can be bought with real money. With them, we can get all kinds of skins and cosmetics, as well as map upgrades. Fortunately, you don’t have to pay anything to get new cards.
