December: gifts and new things in Minecraft Realms Plus

Welcome back to a new article write by me about Minecraft!  On this new release, we are going to talk about Minecraft Realms Plus and the new thing that are coming out.  

You know that for me, it is important to give a resume to think in the new people that read us and are discovering Minecraft. So here we go!   

What it is Minecraft Realms and Realms Plus? 

Minecraft Realms and Realms Plus are subscription-based services that allow you to play Minecraft online with your friends and family on your own personal server. And, depending on the service you purchase, they give you access to a catalog of Minecraft content, such as skins, worlds and resource packs. 

Now, if you want, you can subscribe to Minecraft Realms or Realms Plus with the latest version of Minecraft based on Bedrock Engine found on mobile devices, Xbox consoles, Windows devices, VR devices and Nintendo Switch consoles. 

On the other hand, if you play Minecraft: Java Edition on a Windows device, a Minecraft Realms subscription service is available, but note that it is separate. 

How it is the purchase? 

Everything varies depending on the device you are playing on, as you can choose between a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription. With a one-time purchase, you can create a one-month or six-month Realm. Please note that these one-time purchases are non-refundable and will not automatically renew once they expire. 

Now, with a recurring subscription, you will be automatically charged every 30 days, until you cancel the subscription. With this subscription, you can choose between two monthly recurring options: 

• Realms: a personal server that allows you to play with up to two additional players. 
• Realms Plus: a personal server for up to 10 additional players and a catalog of Minecraft Marketplace content.  

Which are the characteristics? 

• A personal server 

Play locally or in your Realm: a persistent online world, securely stored in the cloud. 

• A place to play with friends 

You and up to 10 friends can play together at the same time. Your friends will never have to pay: they have access to your Realm and all the included content for free! 

• Easy to set up and play 

Setup is as simple as creating a new world when you play Minecraft: just select Create in Realms. 

• Play and sync between devices 

Switch from your console to your phone or PC (any platform on which you can install Bedrock Edition). 

• Safety first

Only players who invite you can join your Realm. Manage permissions and restrict or ban heavy visitors at any time. 

• The best content 

Enhance your game with user-maintained creations when you subscribe to Realms for Java Edition, enjoy free monthly content from the Minecraft marketplace with Realms Plus, or choose Realms for Bedrock Edition if you want to purchase marketplace items separately. 

• Expand your experience 

The control is in your hands: you can choose which world is active for you and your friends. Load three different worlds or packages from the marketplace and easily switch between them using world slots. 

Updated content is landing on Minecraft Realms Plus in December
