Let’s take an example, if you are a content writer, you will be probably pitching to bloggers and digital marketers. They are the ones who can provide you a ton of writing work. Going more specific with the service, if you are a content writer who writes on pets, then your clients would be pet bloggers and influencers.
4. Build a portfolio
Another important step comes in the process is building a high-quality portfolio website. The purpose of building a portfolio is to help your potential clients understand your skills & expertise and convince them why you are the perfect fit for the job. 6. Start freelancing� before you quit your job
What many people make mistake is they quit their job even before starting freelancing. You don’t have to do the same thing. Before you think about quitting your job, make sure you have at least 3-4 steady clients. And, make sure your freelance income is of at least 50 to 70 percent of your present income before you think about leaving your job.
