Transfer your photos from Google to iCloud

It is very common that being an iOS user you may have tried to transfer your photos from Google to Apple’s cloud without great success. Well, to begin you should know that there is not exactly a button to transfer all your files from Google Photos to iCloud. However, here we will teach you some fantastic techniques to achieve it.
Download all your photos at the same time
The method we consider to be the easiest is to download all the content you have saved in Google in one step. To do it, follow these steps.
- From your PC or Mac open your trusted browser and go to the official Google Takeout site.
- If you are only exporting your photos, deselect all files.
- Then scroll down and check the Google Photos option.
- Then click the Next step option to proceed with the export process.
- Afterwards, you will find a window where you will be able to customize the frequency with which you will export your photos and videos. You will also be able to modify the maximum file size and output format.
- Finally, once you have set your preferences, click on Create export to start the download.

On the other hand, if you are one of those users who prefer to carefully review and select the content they want to download, it is more useful to go to the official Google Photos website and download them from there. Don’t worry, by following these steps you will do it quickly.
- First, open your web browser of choice and go to the Google Photos site.
- Then, search and select the photos and videos you want to download by marking them with the small bullet that appears in the upper corner of each one. Another way to mark everything at the same time is to select the first photo and scroll to the bottom of the page by holding down the Shift key.
- When you have selected all the content you wish to export, press the Shift+D keys simultaneously or locate the Download button at the top of the page.
