10 Best Upcoming Games Releasing In November 2022

November 10, 2022
This year, gamers have been favored with the simultaneous release of many exciting games. In fact, many game publishers and developers have decided to risk releasing their games in November even if it means clashing with the release of God of War: Ragnarok.
If you’ve been in the gaming community for any length of time, you’ll know that November is usually packed with popular releases, as in order to boost sales during the holiday season, many AAA games are released one after another and consequently, end up overshadowing each other.
This has happened over and over again year after year and for this reason many great games end up in oblivion. Unfortunately, this year was no exception either. However, today we present you with a list of the best games that will be released during November 2022 so that you can keep all the titles in mind.
Top 10 Upcoming Games Releasing In November 2022
1. God of War: Ragnarok
The long-awaited sequel to the 2018 God of War reboot of course tops this list, as thanks to being considered one of the most successful AAA series, the game has generated high expectations.
In that same vein, God of War: Ragnarok is shaping up to be this year’s best release. So the next saga focuses on the story of Kratos and Atreus as they face the Norse gods, Thor and Odin.
The game will be available starting November 9 for PS5 and PS4, though gamers can also look forward to reviews of the game, available starting November 3 at 9 a.m. PST.
Originally, the 2018 version was a PlayStation exclusive, but this year it was released for PC. Don’t expect a PC port anytime soon, however, as Sony generally waits a couple of years before porting an exclusive game.
2. Sonic Frontiers
This is an open-world 3D platformer that marks the return of the beloved blue hedgehog in a AAA game. Also, this is the first time a game in the Sonic series uses an open-world format (the developers even compared it to The Legend of Zelda: BOTW), so this time, players will be able to explore the mysterious Starfall Islands, where they will have to solve puzzles, collect items, and fight against robot enemies.
But don’t let the format change fool you, you’ll still be able to enjoy the blue hedgehog’s iconic abilities along with new combat attacks. Sonic Frontiers will be available to the general public on November 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
You can get it at: Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Store.
3. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0
That’s right, the next generation of Call of Duty: Warzone is on the way, with a bunch of graphical updates, a new BR map, and some new game modes. Like its predecessor, the game will be completely free-to-play and feature cross-platform play.
Additionally, the main Battle Royale map will also be changed to a desert-themed map titled Al Mazrah, with AI fighters defending various strongholds across the map.
Keep in mind that Warzone 2.0 is a separate game from the original that is based on a new engine, and this means that players will not be able to transfer their progressions or purchases from the original game. However, the original Warzone will still be available to play on all platforms.
On the other hand, users will also be able to enjoy the new movement system, which allows for cover, diving face down, and swimming. Warzone 2.0 will be available starting November 16 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not to mention it will be part of a unique cross-game launcher known as Call of Duty HQ.
4. Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PC release)
With this title, it seems that Sony is finally taking ground in the PC gaming market. In fact, a few months ago, PC gamers got the Spider-Man Remastered port. And now, it looks like the company is ready to release its sequel, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, on PC on November 18.
This is a spin-off and successor to the original Spider-Man game, and with improved combat and graphics, it seems that for PC gamers, it has automatically become one of the best games this year. What’s even better is that the PC port of the game will also feature Nvidia DLSS, ray tracing, and ultra-wide monitor support.
The plot of this title introduces us to Peter Parker overseas and Miles as the one responsible for saving New York from the Tinkerer gang. The spin-off may not have as much content as Spider-Man Remastered, but it’s still praised for its combat and storytelling. You can get it on Steam or Epic Games Store.
5. Among Us VR
The game that has earned a special place in every gamer’s heart is finally coming to virtual reality. So, Among Us was created from the ground up for VR with the same core gameplay as the original. However, it feels like a completely different game with 3D environments and virtual reality immersion.
As you know, this video game initially gained traction thanks to popular Twitch streamers. However, its developers were quick to capitalize on the success of their game and make a mobile port for it. Now, Among Us, VR is coming to PC and the Quest store on November 10.
6. Warhammer 40K: Darktide
Obviously, a shooter game could not be missing from this list. Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a four-player cooperative shooter based on the universe of the same name. This title is similar to its second installment, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, which had the same premise of four players fighting against waves of AI enemies where players must complete objectives at higher difficulties to obtain better rewards (weapons and coins).
Here, players can choose from one of four hero classes: Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn, and Psyker, which can be customized to change their class, appearance, and gender. Darktide will hit PCs on November 30, although its Xbox Series X|S release will come at a later date, and judging by the game’s preview, it’s definitely one of the best games coming out this month.
7. Evil West
Undoubtedly one of the most surprising revelations during this year’s Gamescom The plot follows Jesse Rentier, one of the last vampire hunters protecting the American frontier from supernatural monsters and bandits. At first glance, the game looks like Devil May Cry but with cowboys and the American frontier.
Developed by the studio behind the rebooted Shadow Warrior series, the gameplay is a mix of third-person shooting and melee action. Evil West will be released on November 22 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
8. Goat Simulator 3
This is the sequel to the first installment of the game, as apparently the developers decided to completely omit the second part of the series. GS3 is the new installment of the crazy and chaos-filled series.
That’s basically what the game is all about: pure chaos. GS3 features a very silly premise and a game world full of activities that now also has a four-person co-op game mode for even more over-the-top action. Goat Simulator 3 will be released on November 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
9. The Entropy Center
This is a physics-based first-person puzzle adventure game that might click with Portal fans. The Entropy Center presents an interesting plot, as it follows the last survivor of humanity who is trapped on the moon. But this is where the trusty time-bending AI gun comes into play, as players must solve puzzles before the imminent collapse of the Entropy Center.
Then, with Earth on the brink of destruction, as the player, you will have to find a way to rewind the entire planet. The entire game is based on unique puzzle mechanics that allow players to go back in time to overcome seemingly impossible obstacles. It will be available on November 3 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
10. WRC Generations
Closing with a perfect finale, we have WRC Generations, a racing game in which players can compete in the 2022 World Rally Championship. The big innovation compared to previous entries in the series is that new hybrid car models were introduced in the championship. In addition, participants will be able to compete in 22 countries in 165 timed stages.
And as if that were not enough, in this new version you will also be able to customize your cars with your own stickers and liveries, as well as share them with other players. WRC Generations will be released on November 3 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
