Although the Christmas holidays are over and even January 6 (Three Kings Day) has already passed, do not worry, there are still reasons to receive gifts on these dates

And that is thanks to LEGO. Since the Danish company not only releases new sets for the vacations, but also for the beginning of the year. All this, to its loyal customers, are not left without new constructions. If you do not know which one to buy, we can help you find your next set. Read on to see our picks for the new LEGO sets releasing in 2023

They usually make sets on extremely specific themes or with exceptionally large fandoms, which will really appreciate having and putting together these constructions. 

And I decide to start with the Hogwarts set, specifically the Gryffindor set, like a good millennial that I am. (Yes, I love Harry Potter! So what?). 

  • Gryffindor House Banner 

Recommended by LEGO for builders aged nine and up. In The Gryffindor House Banner, with 285 pieces, you can show your house pride. The completed set has a tile with the Gryffindor house crest and a hanger so that you can display it on the wall. It also includes a model of a Gryffindor common room inside, complete with a fireplace and seating area. 

There is no need to worry, if Gryffindor is not your house, LEGO is also releasing sets for Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. All banner sets come out on March 1. 

  • The Avengers Quinjet 

Next up is for those fans of Marvel Comics and movies. And is already available on January 1. 

LEGO recommends this set for builders aged nine and up who want to recreate the famous Marvel aircraft. With 795 pieces, it features an opening cockpit, an area for passengers, a retractable undercarriage, and even adjustable wings. You will find plenty of accessories in this set and five mini-figures, including Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Loki. 

This set, is special whether you are a Marvel fan wants a new piece for your collection or a parent looking for a Marvel set for your kid. 

  • Payakan the Tulkun & Crabsuit 

With the arrival of the Avatar sequel, it is not just fans, filmmakers and critics who are keeping an eye on the film, but LEGO as well.  

Being the most enticing of LEGO, here is  Payakan the Tulkun & Crabsuit. Builders, aged 10 and up, can enjoy this 761-piece LEGO set starting on January 1.  

It comes with so many components that you can enjoy. There is the posable tulkun and the transformable crabsuit model that lets you take it from a submarine to a walking vehicle. The set also comes with plenty of accessories and three Avatar mini-figures of characters from the movie. 

  • Peach’s Garden Balloon Ride Expansion 

As a last but not the least recommendation, here is the perfect set. Since, few combinations are better than LEGO and Super Mario, wherewith makes impeccable for those Mario Bros fans.
