What are the new Netflix series for December?

Another month has arrived, and with it comes new releases on Netflix. We previously listed the movies coming in December, but what about the series? Of course, Netflix couldn’t leave us without an update on our favorite shows and series, couldn’t it? 

But that’s not all, because within the repertoire of the streaming giant, we will have a host of new series that we can enjoy during this holiday season.

Complete list of series and shows coming to Netflix in December 2022.

December 1st

  • Chhota Bheem ki Citi Pitti Gul (Season 1): Hindi animated series for kids.
  • Dead End (Season 1) Netflix Original: This is a Polish TV thriller that follows a group of people who carpool and accidentally switch cars with a bank robber.
  • The Masked Scammer (2022) Netflix Original: Dare to watch a crime documentary about how a master con artist swindled French elites out of millions.

December 2nd

  • Firefly Lane (Season 2, Part 1) Netflix Original: The first half of the final season of Netflix’s feel-good series from showrunner Maggie Friedman.
  • Hot Skull (Season 1) Netflix Original: An adaptation of the Turkish sci-fi series. Set in a dystopian world where an epidemic spreads through verbal communication,
  • “Mr.” (2022) Netflix Original: A superb biographical documentary about the pioneering filmmaker and late father of Robert Downey Jr.

December 5th

  • Mighty Express: Mighty Trains Race (Season 1) Netflix Original: Have fun with a new animated spinoff for kids of the Mighty Express franchise.

December 6th

  • Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus (Season 1) Netflix Original – Christmas Release: an animated special of DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby franchise.
  • Sebastian Maniscalco: Is It Me? (2022) Netflix Original: A Stand-Up Special

December 7th

  • I hate Christmas (Season 1) Netflix Original: Italian romantic comedy series with a holiday theme.
  • Smiley (season 1) Netflix Original: Another Spanish-language romantic comedy about two men and their friends in Barcelona looking for love.
  • The Most Beautiful Flower (Season 1) Netflix Original: Spanish-language comedy series.
  • Too Hot to Drive (Season 4) Netflix Original: You’ll lose your breath with new weekly episodes in this reality dating series.

December 8th 

  • In Broad Daylight: The Narvarte Case (2022) Netflix Original: Documentary about real crimes in Mexico.
  • The Elephant Whisperers (2022) Netflix Original: Documentary by director Kartiki Gonsalves about a couple in southern India who dedicate their lives to elephants.

December 9th

  • CAT (Season 1) Netflix Original: First season of an Indian crime series about a former police informant summoned to infiltrate a drug empire.
  • Dragon Age: Absolution (Season 1) Netflix Original: Anime series based on Bioware’s video game role-playing series.
  • Dream Home Makeover (Season 4) Netflix Original: An incredible reality series.

December 13th 

  • Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure (Season 1) Netflix Original: Japanese family series about Gudetama, a lazy egg who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime.
  • Last Chance U: Basketball (Season 2) Netflix Original: Sports documentary series.

December 14th

  • Glitter (Season 1) Netflix Original: Polish series set in the late 1970s About three women are navigating political and social changes.
  • Kangaroo Valley (2022) Netflix Original: A nature documentary that follows a young kangaroo named Mala who faces starvation, frost and a pack of hungry dingoes.

December 15th 

  • Sonic Prime (Season 1) Netflix Original: A new animated Sonic series from WildBrain where you will see our blue hedgehog having to run through parallel dimensions after Dr. Eggman destroys the universe.

December 16th

  • A Storm for Christmas (Limited Series) Netflix Original: Directed by Per-Olav Sørensen, this new miniseries is about a group of people stranded in an airport during Christmas.
  • Cook at All Costs (Season 1) Netflix Original: Featuring host Jordan Andino.
  • Dance Monsters (Season 1) Netflix Original: An Argentine reality series.
  • Far From Home (Season 1) Netflix Original: Nigerian coming-of-age drama series set at the prestigious Wilmer Academy.
  • How to Ruin Christmas (Season 3) Netflix Original – Christmas Release: The next entry in the South African comedy series with this season titled “The Baby Shower.”
  • Paradise PD (Season 4) Netflix Original: The final season of the animated crime comedy series from Waco O’Guin and Roger Black.
  • Summer Job (Season 1) Netflix Original: Another reality series, this time Italian competition where 10 Generation Z contestants think they’re on a dream vacation but must find summer jobs.
  • The Recruit (Season 1) Netflix Original: Created by Alexi Hawley, this new series sees Noah Centineo as an agent entangled in a CIA conspiracy.

December 20th

  • The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1 (2022) Netflix Original: If you’re a fan of the original series, you’ll be excited to hear about the new movie based on the popular Seven Deadly Sins IP.

December 21st

  • Emily in Paris (Season 3) Netflix Original: Lily Collins returns as Emily Cooper in the third outing in Paris.

December 22nd

  • Alice in Borderland (Season 2) Netflix Original: To the delight of many, the Japanese series finally returns. To solve the mystery of Borderland and return to their original world, Arisu and his comrades must face even more difficult and dangerous games.

December 25th 

  • Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical (2022) Netflix Original: A remake of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical starring Alisha Weir, Lashana Lynch, and Emma Thompson.
  • The Witcher: Blood Origin (limited series) Netflix Original: A prequel series to The Witcher

December 27th

  • Chelsea Handler: Revolution (2022) Netflix Original: A stand-up special from the Netflix talk show host.

December 30th

  • The Glory (season 1) Netflix Original: This South Korean drama series follows a woman who sets a revenge plot in motion. Starring Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun and Im Ji-yeon.

As you can see, among Netflix’s plans is to bring a lot of new content and even fresh seasons of series that have already stolen the hearts of the audience. The important thing is that you already know everything that is coming to the platform next month, and you’ll be ready to plan a marathon with your favorite shows or try new things. Good luck!
