By Valentina Tuta

Definitely, there is no person who doesn’t know about the MCU. In fact, all of us are excited to learn more about our favorite heroes and after the great success of the sequel of Black Panther, many fans want to know what the next step will be.

Although, not all the Marvel movies are directly related to the MCU. Actually, some rights to Marvel properties still lie with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

However, new Marvel updates on movies from both studios are revealed almost weekly though. Below is all the confirmed news on big-screen Marvel release dates. So let’s see how it goes!

The most anticipated Marvel Movies for 2023

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania – February 17, 2023

This has undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated movies by fans and although it has not yet been released, the audience is already waiting for a third part, which, by the way, has already been confirmed as the first film in Phase 5 of the MCU.

Hence, the film that initially was scheduled for 2021, will finally hit the big screens this year and to the joy of many, it will keep their original cast, except for Cassie Lang who this time would be played by Kathryn Newton.

While the movie has a two-year delay (due to the pandemic), Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania should be worth the wait, as it seems we’ll have new villains such as the iconic Kang the Conqueror, who is going to make his debut on the big screen. Lastly, although the official trailer doesn’t show MODOK, it’s a fact that he will also appear in the universe of our little hero.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023

Certainly, until now, updates regarding Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 had been unclear. In fact, the movie had a rocky road to production, starting with the firing of its director, James Gunn by Disney after certain conflicts of interest.

What’s more, if it had not been for the fanatics who acclaimed Gunn’s return, perhaps the film’s fate would still be uncertain. Nevertheless, while Gunn accepted his Disney reinstatement, he has enough time to direct The Suicide Squad and a Peacemaker TV spin-off.

At the moment, there is not much known about the plot of this sequel, as everything has been kept secret. But it is known that it will provide a deeper look at Rocket Racoon’s backstory, and of course, we’ll have Peter Quill dealing with a version of Gamora who doesn’t remember him.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – June 2, 2023

The film is scheduled to be released on June 2nd of this year and while this sequel of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has taken longer than usual in appear, the fans are not worried about leaving it in Sony’s hands, even more when shortly before Into the Spider-Verse hit theaters, the company confirmed plans to produce a sequel.

Therefore, despite having few details about the story, the advances confirm that Gwen Stacy will be back for Miles Morales to take him to another adventure. However, it seems this time Miles is the one who will be visiting several alternate realities, giving way to interesting cameos such as Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) and even the Japanese Spider-Man, for the moment, we can only wait and see. Are you excited?
